Choice...

I am not a person with a religious bent of mind. And hence I do not believe in the governance of our lives by destiny. I think that choices govern every aspect of our lives.

Mostly they are choices we make, but at times they may be due to others too. What we are and why we are is directly the result of choices we/others have made till this point in our lives. And while everyone is not born in equal circumstances, it just makes those choices easier or harder, but they still are choices.
People may choose to disagree with me but I choose to believe myself!
